- Plain Flour 2 cup
- Almonds ½ cup
- Egg 2 pc
- Yeast 1 tsp
- Icing Sugar 1 cup
- Butter 2-3 tbsp
- Black Cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Baking Powder 1 tsp
- Olive oil 2 tablespoon
- Salt 1 pinch
Method:
- Luke warm water and add yeast in a pan. Mix well.
- When yeast gets done, add it in mixing bowl, now add plain flour, icing sugar, black cumin seeds, olive oil, baking powder & salt.
- Knead dough & wrap it in plastic and leave it at warm atmosphere for 2 to 3 hours.
- Now knead it again and make balls as you require with the help of rolling pan then roll it and cut them in thin sticks.
- Now mix 2 rolls together and make remaining others like this with the help of brush. Add egg and almonds.
- Spread some butter or oil on the baking tray and place bread on it. Then brush the bread with olive oil.
- Bake it in oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Now Greek Bread is ready to be served.
