Beef Satay Recipe

Ingredients

  • Beef undercut 1 kg
  • Sliced onion 1
  • Cloves Of Garlic 2
  • Ground Lemon Grass ½ cup
  • A Piece of Ginger
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Red Chilies 6
  • A dozen skewers
  • Coriander Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Brown Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Fish sauce 2 tablespoon
  • White Cumin 1 tablespoon
  • Dark Soya Sauce 3 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to requirement

Method


  1. In a bowl, mix 1 sliced onion,  ½ cup ground lemon grass, a piece of ginger, 2 cloves of garlic, 6 red chilies, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp white cumin, 1 tbsp coriander powder , 1 tbsp brown sugar, 3 tbsp dark Soya sauce, 2 tbsp fish sauce, and salt as required and form a thick paste.
  2. Marinate all beef boti and keep it for half an hour.
  3. Heat a grill pan.
  4. Soak wooden skewers for 15 mins, then add boti in them.
  5. Brush some oil on top of it and keep it on grill until the beef gets tender.
  6. Now Beef Satay is ready to be served.
