Greek Bread

Ingredients:

  • Plain Flour 2 cup
  • Almonds ½ cup
  • Egg 2 pc
  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • Icing Sugar 1 cup
  • Butter 2-3 tbsp
  • Black Cumin seeds ½ tsp
  • Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • Olive oil 2 tablespoon
  • Salt 1 pinch

Method:


  1. Luke warm water and add yeast in a pan. Mix well.
  2. When yeast gets done,  add it in mixing bowl, now add plain flour, icing sugar,  black cumin seeds, olive oil, baking powder  & salt.
  3. Knead dough & wrap it in plastic and leave it at warm atmosphere for 2 to 3 hours.
  4. Now knead it again and make balls as you require with the help of rolling pan then roll it and cut them in thin sticks.
  5. Now mix 2 rolls together and make remaining others like this with the help of brush.  Add egg and almonds.
  6. Spread some  butter or oil on the baking tray and place bread on it. Then brush the bread with olive oil.
  7. Bake it in oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Now Greek Bread is ready to be served.
