Dragon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • For marinating
  • Chicken boneless             500 grams (cut into thin pieces)
  • Black pepper powder ¾ tablespoon
  • Crushed ginger and garlic 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce ½ tsp
  • Red chili paste 1 tsp
  • Egg white 1
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Sal t to taste

Method:


  • Take the all chicken pieces and marinate them with the all ingredients apart from oil and keep it aside for around  half an hour. Heat oil in the pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces deep until it is cooked and gets golden brown in colour. Now keep the chicken pieces on paper towel to remove excess oil.

Other Ingredients:
  • Cashew nuts 15
  • Ginger garlic chopped 2 tsp
  • Whole red chili 2
  • Spring onion chopped 2tbsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Capsicum (sliced) green, red & yellow 1 cup
  • Onion, diced 2
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • Tomato sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili paste ¾ tsp (or as per your desire)
  • Salt to taste
  • Water ¼ cup
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Method:


  • Heat oil in the pan and then add cashew nuts, fry until they get golden in colour and then Remove from pan.
  • Now add  chopped ginger garlic, red chili and red chili flakes and fry it till the raw smell disappears.
  • Add spring onion and diced onion then fry on high flame for around three to four minutes. Add the sliced capsicum, cook for another two mins at least.
  • Reduce the flame a little and then add the sauces, sugar, red chili paste and salt. Cook for about 2 mins.
  • Add 1/4th cup water and cook until it gets thick. Add the fried chicken pieces and cashew nuts and then combine evenly. Cook for around two or three mins. Remove from the  flame.
  • Now Dragon Chicken is ready to served.
